Natural Hair Care Wash Day Routine

So does every naturalista have a wash day? It takes me literally four to five hours to achieve my deep conditioning styling start off for the week. What are your weekly professional workplace styles? How many days does it last? How often do you wash your hair during the week?

Growing my natural hair and keeping it healthy is the ultimate goal for me. But my biggest routine  is my wash day routine. My routine intales applying olive oil to my scalp and hair to achieve a deep moisturizing treatment. I put on a shower cap on while the oil sits on my scalp and hair. Afterwards I do a cowash rinse. I don't buy expensive products. I use organic cabinet items that work just as good as the name brands. I use Apple cider vinegar. Then after doing the cowash I simply run luke warm water through my hair to rinse it as much as possible. Then I shampoo with with Shea moisture product line.

My last wash step I prepare before washing and conditioning is applying my second deep conditioning treatment. I simply apply my mixed conditioner of raw african Shea butter, and Shea Moisture product line using any kind of conditioner they have. Let sit for five minutes and rinse it out. This works so well for me. My hair feels so soft and my curls glisten afterwards.

My last moisture routine on wash day I have a spray bottle I keep with avocado, olive, tea tree and jamaican black castor oil mixed in one. Then afterwards I part into small sections and spray. Then after applying the oil all over my scalp I comb through it all. I part into four parts and leave over night for styling in the morning or I style that night.

This is my routine weekly Sunday routine. Check out some photos on my organization and how my hair looks after a wash!
