Natural Oils are a huge essential in not only moisture for the scalp; but for healthy hair growth. I am fully aware that a lot of my sisters use hair grease. For generations it has been an American way of moisturizing the scalp. This method goes all the way back to when our ancestors lost their cultural way of doing things and used bacon grease to  moisturize. It is not good. And this is where it originates. I hope to reach someone with this blog writing tonight. Recent studies have shown that hair grease actually clogs your scalp pores and is not healthy for the scalp. These products are great essentials for your hair. These are some of the basic products I use on my wash day as explained in my post from yesterday.

I absolutely live by these products. Raw African shea butter and shea moisture for a deep conditioner to soften my hair.

Natural Hair Care Wash Day Routine

So does every naturalista have a wash day? It takes me literally four to five hours to achieve my deep conditioning styling start off for the week. What are your weekly professional workplace styles? How many days does it last? How often do you wash your hair during the week? Growing my natural hair and keeping it healthy is the ultimate goal for me. But my biggest routine  is my wash day routine. My routine intales applying olive oil to my scalp and hair to achieve a deep moisturizing treatment. I put on a shower cap on while the oil sits on my scalp and hair. Afterwards I do a cowash rinse. I don't buy expensive products. I use organic cabinet items that work just as good as the name brands. I use Apple cider vinegar. Then after doing the cowash I simply run luke warm water through my hair to rinse it as much as possible. Then I shampoo with with Shea moisture product line.
